Fruit was taught by Denise Boyce at Teachers' Workshop. This was not the pattern that Denise had prepared for, but she was able to switch gears well when she discovered the mistake. My apple is created with wool that was dip-dyed for strawberries. I learned that grapes are the most challenging of fruits; round and translucent! I added black to the brown background because I planned on whipping the edge with black yarn.
For Sale: $500 — 11x14", wool on burlap.
